Activated Charcoal Powder 275G

Activated charcoal is a powerful adsorbing agent, capable of binding and holding various poisons and toxins within its extensive surface area—just one teaspoon contains hundreds of feet of surface area in its tiny crevices.

Commonly used in cases of drug overdose, it is also widely applied in filters to remove contaminants from air, water, and other substances. While highly effective in adsorbing gases and toxins, it does not adsorb strong alkalis, strong acids, or petroleum distillates.

Traditionally, activated charcoal has been used to support the treatment of bloating, diarrhoea, food poisoning, and high uric acid levels. It may also be used externally in poultices to aid in the treatment of tumours.
